I kind thought that Thin Lizzy were a joke before moving to Ireland but I've re-assessed that. Phil's a pretty cool guy (and his statue is close to my work)and they got some great guitar licks (which I usually hate). I guess he really rose from nothing and in a very un-accepting era for blacks in Ireland, not to mention that he came from a broken home.
