Nah... they had a lot more muscle than Semisonic. Silver Sun were (maybe still are) huge in Japan. True story. I saw them play at the Brighton Essential Festival in '96. Shit sound, mate. I believe They were wedged between Fountains of Wayne and 3 Colours Red. What an era!
